Glapwell Parish Council pays tribute to the Queen

It is with the greatest sadness that we learnt of the passing of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth the Second. Now, we reflect upon the incredible lifetime of service, duty and devotion Queen Elizabeth II has given to our country. 

Period of mourning

There is now a period of mourning where people across the country can pay their respects to Her Majesty.

This will last until the day after the state funeral.

Bolsover District Council

Will be flying our flags at half-mast as a mark of respect during the period of mourning. There will be books of condolence available for people to sign in our four contact centres in Bolsover, Clowne, Shirebrook and South Normanton. Flowers can be laid in remembrance outside our headquarters at The Arc in Clowne.
